We’re going to celebrate and recognize the importance of dog training by shining a light on our county’s Veterans Affairs Dog program. The program is designed to support our military veterans and their emotional needs, as well as our well-trained animal in finding a great forever home. Stoney Summey, Director of Veterans Affairs for St. Joseph County, is going to visit our centers to discuss the program in more detail, and let our members meet some of the dogs in training. This event will take place on Friday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rivers Enrichment Center in Three Rivers and at 2:00 p.m. at the Oaks Enrichment Center in Sturgis. Hope to see you there!
