Best Friends Approach to Dementia Care
This special presentation is on an approach to dementia care that was developed in the 1990s by two university employees at the University of Kentucky Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. Called the Best Friends Approach to Dementia Care, it is based on the premise that what a person with dementia needs most of all is a friend, a “Best Friend.”
