WE ARE LOOKING FOR A VOLUNTEER TO LEAD A SUPPORT GROUP AT OUR STURGIS CENTER. Training is provided by the Alzheimer’s Association and the time required is only a few hours each month. If you think you might be a good fit for this role, and are looking to get involved in your community and volunteer, then please let us know!
The Alzheimer’s Association also has a 24/7 Hotline (800.272.3900). Through this free service, specialists and master’s level clinicians offer confidential support and information to people with the disease, caregivers, families and the public. You can contact the helpline day or night for information about local programs and services. You can also receive a confidential care consultation and receive help with decision-making support, crisis assistance and education on issues families face every day.
